Not only does Splice offer a rent-to-own deal for Serum, but it’s also a great place to get presets and samples on their service Splice Sounds (sponsored). Presets: Presets download directly via the Splice app. The demo below was created by producer 7skies to show what is possible when using Aoki’s presets. There is nothing worse than wasting your precious time and inspiration searching for that stab preset with a weird name you can never remember. To resolve this, check the folder permissions for the Splice folder in your Serum presets folder. You can check for updates by clicking on Preferences in the Splice app and clicking “ Check Updates ” You can see the preset type near the sample tags when you’re browsing Sounds. Give each unison voice its own waveform, tune them or twist them together, or just try the different modes until everything but Serum fades away.
